1. Purpose and Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of Bookedtify, including clients, service providers, provider team members, visitors, and anyone who accesses or uses the platform.
Bookedtify is designed to support lawful and respectful booking activity. Users must not use Bookedtify for illegal, unsafe, abusive, misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, or harmful purposes.
- Use Bookedtify only for legitimate booking-related purposes.
- Provide accurate information and act honestly, respectfully, and lawfully.
- Comply with applicable laws, Bookedtify policies, and reasonable safety or fraud investigations.
2. Bookedtify's Role
Bookedtify is a technology platform that connects clients with independent service providers. Bookedtify does not provide the services listed by providers.
Providers are responsible for the services they list and deliver. Clients are responsible for using the platform honestly, respectfully, and lawfully.
Bookedtify may investigate, restrict, suspend, remove, or terminate accounts, listings, bookings, reviews, messages, payouts, or platform access where this Policy is violated.
3. Prohibited Services
Providers must not list, promote, offer, sell, or facilitate services that are illegal, unsafe, misleading, abusive, exploitative, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise prohibited by Bookedtify.
- Illegal services or services offered without required licences, registrations, permits, qualifications, insurance, or professional approvals.
- Fraudulent or misleading services, including fake qualifications, fake reviews, false before-and-after results, hidden fees, false availability, or inaccurate descriptions.
- Unsafe services performed in unsafe locations, by unqualified people, with unsafe equipment, or in violation of health and safety rules.
- Adult, sexual, escort, erotic, exploitative, violent, weapon-related, illegal substance, or coercive services.
- Services that discriminate against protected characteristics or infringe copyright, trademarks, privacy rights, confidentiality, image rights, or other third-party rights.
Bookedtify may request proof of qualifications, licences, insurance, professional registration, or authority to provide a service at any time.
4. Client Conduct
Clients must not make fake bookings, book with no intention of attending, harass providers, threaten providers, request illegal or unsafe services, pressure providers to break the law, avoid payment, submit false refund claims, file dishonest chargebacks, leave fake or abusive reviews, misuse provider contact details, or use Bookedtify for spam, scams, or fraud.
Bookedtify may suspend or terminate client accounts that misuse the platform.
5. Provider Conduct
Providers must not list services they cannot legally provide, accept bookings they cannot reasonably fulfil, repeatedly cancel without valid reason, fail to attend confirmed bookings, mislead clients about price, duration, location, qualifications, or results, manipulate reviews, misuse client data, or ignore Bookedtify investigations.
Providers are responsible for the actions of their team members, staff, performers, subcontractors, and anyone using the provider account.
6. Anti-Circumvention
Users must not use Bookedtify to avoid Bookedtify fees, commissions, subscription rules, payment rules, or platform protections.
- Providers must not ask clients to cancel a Bookedtify booking and book directly.
- Providers must not ask clients to pay outside Bookedtify where Bookedtify payment is required.
- Providers must not move platform-originated booking relationships outside Bookedtify to avoid fees or policies.
- Clients must not pressure providers to avoid Bookedtify fees or policies.
Bookedtify may restrict accounts, deduct lost fees, reduce visibility, suspend payouts, or terminate accounts for circumvention.
7. Payments and Chargebacks
Users must not abuse Bookedtify payment, refund, or dispute systems. Prohibited payment conduct includes fraudulent payments, stolen payment methods, false refund claims, dishonest chargebacks, payment manipulation, fake payment evidence, collusion, and moving payments outside Bookedtify to avoid fees.
Providers are financially responsible for refunds, chargebacks, dispute fees, payment reversals, and losses caused by their own cancellation, non-performance, fraud, misconduct, misleading listings, or policy violations.
8. Reviews and Communication
Reviews must be honest, relevant, and based on real experiences. Fake reviews, review swapping, paid positive reviews, threats linked to reviews, abusive reviews, defamatory reviews, irrelevant reviews, and reviews containing private personal data are prohibited.
Users must communicate respectfully and lawfully. Threats, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, sexual harassment, spam, scams, malware, misleading information, unrelated marketing, private personal data of another person, and requests to avoid Bookedtify fees are prohibited.
Bookedtify may review platform messages where necessary for safety, support, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or policy enforcement.
9. Personal Data and Sensitive Data
Users must respect the privacy of others and must not collect personal data without permission, sell personal data, share personal data without authority, misuse contact details, scrape user data, export user data for unrelated purposes, or use client data for unrelated marketing without valid permission.
Providers may use client data only for managing and delivering the booked service, unless the client has separately agreed to another use.
Users should not submit sensitive personal information through Bookedtify unless necessary for the specific booking and legally appropriate.
10. Security and Technical Misuse
Users must keep their accounts secure and must not share passwords, sell accounts, transfer accounts without permission, access another user's account, use stolen login details, bypass security controls, create multiple accounts to avoid restrictions, or use bots without permission.
Users must not interfere with Bookedtify systems, software, security, infrastructure, or data through hacking, scraping, crawling without permission, reverse engineering, data mining, malware, unauthorised access, rate-limit bypassing, overload attacks, security testing without written permission, or API misuse.
11. Content Rules
Users must not upload, post, send, or display content that is illegal, false, misleading, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, defamatory, spam, infringing, unsafe, invasive of privacy, manipulative, or harmful to Bookedtify, users, or third parties.
This applies to provider profiles, service descriptions, images, logos, banners, reviews, messages, booking notes, cancellation reasons, support requests, uploaded documents, and any other content submitted through Bookedtify.
12. Fraud and Safety
Users must not use Bookedtify for fraud, scams, deception, fake identities, fake businesses, fake providers, fake clients, fake bookings, fake documents, fake licences, fake insurance, fake qualifications, fake reviews, fake evidence, phishing, impersonation, or deceptive promotions.
Bookedtify is not an emergency service. Users must not use Bookedtify to request emergency medical, police, fire, rescue, crisis, or urgent safety services. If there is an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately.
13. Reporting Violations
Users may report violations using in-app report buttons on provider profiles and reviews, or through the report and contact pages.
- Include the account, provider, client, listing, booking, review, or message involved.
- Explain the issue clearly and why it may violate law or Bookedtify policy.
- Add supporting evidence where available, such as screenshots, messages, receipts, booking references, or links.
Bookedtify may review reports and take appropriate action.
14. Notice, Enforcement, and Appeals
Bookedtify may operate a notice-and-action process for illegal content, illegal services, fraud, unsafe conduct, or serious policy violations.
Enforcement actions may include warnings, correction requests, content removal, listing edits, reduced provider visibility, booking cancellation, client refunds where appropriate, payout holds, reserves, feature restrictions, suspension, termination, blocking future account creation, deductions, reporting to payment providers, or reporting illegal activity to authorities.
Where Bookedtify takes major enforcement action, users may contact Bookedtify to request a review. Appeals should include account details, the action being appealed, the reason the user disagrees, and supporting evidence. Submitting an appeal does not automatically restore access, listings, bookings, payouts, or content.
15. Changes and Contact
Bookedtify may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Where required by law, Bookedtify will notify users or providers before material changes take effect.
